Money is really important. When you don’t have enough of it, it’s all you can think about. You worry about it all the time.

Lack of finances can be devastating to your marriage also. In a study published by SunTrust Bank published on CNBC, 44% of married couples between the ages of 44 and 54 have significant relationship stress because of a lack of money.

Money Is Neither Good or Bad,
But It Can Give You FREEDOM and SECURITY.

When you have an online business which you can control and gives you a second paycheque, it gives you FREEDOM. You get to set your own hours, do work you are passionate about, be your own boss and quit your job if that’s what you want to do.

And if you have a job, there’s nothing like the SECURITY of knowing you are setting aside money every single month for your children’s future, tucking money away for them to go to college and living the life of abundance you deserve.

The impact of money on your happiness is very well documented. In 2009, nobel-prize winning psychologist Daniel Kahneman and economist Angus Deaton of Princeton University discovered that:

In a poll of 90,000 workers in 18 separate countries, the consulting firm Towers Perrin discovered some shocking statistics about how many people hate their jobs.

They found:

  • 40% of employees are actively disengaged at work. These people are like zombies. Sure, they make it into the office, but they get almost zero work done.
  • 40% of employees are somewhat engaged. This means they are capable and skilled, but don’t have the motivation to work as hard as they can.
  • This leaves just 20% of people who feel fully engaged at work. These are the people who actually like their jobs, feel like they are growing and making a difference with their jobs.

This means 80% aren’t mentally checked in at work! But why?

I believe it’s because most people don’t have a compelling sense of mission. They aren’t driven by a PURPOSE which motivates, inspires and excites them.

80,000 hours of your life will be spent working.

Are you going to spend those hours working at a job that bores you to tears, working with people who you don’t like… or are you going to find a career that lights you up, pays you handsomely and that has you excited to go work in the morning.

It comes down to one word: Mission, but you can also think of it as “life purpose”. It’s one of the most important things for us to discover as men.

Human beings are multi-faceted and our missions are also multi-faceted. We can have personal, professional and physical missions.

Our job is to help you find your mission, and then use that as fuel to add value and contribution to the world.
